Like Judith Piepe in London she had offered them her appartment to stay. It was a promise they madin 1965 to owner Cobi Schreijer who ‘discovered’ them for The Netherlands. In the linernotes to the Sundazed release (SC 11108) ‘The Cyrkle – Red Rubber Ball’ Dominic Priore writes: ‘Through Barry Kornfeld’s connections, Dawes found himself playing bass in the first road group assembled to back the fledging folk-rock duo called Simon & Garfunkel.
